Coaching Cadence

How Coaching Cadence works

One printed page per practice, from drills whose videos have been checked.

Build a practice

Make a team once. A practice starts with a short brief and becomes a timeline of activities: warmups, drills, breaks, a scrimmage. The minutes must add up to the practice length before you mark it Final.

Print or share it

Print gives you one US Letter page: the timeline, each drill’s setup, steps, cues and video, and the equipment checklist. The builder warns before a practice outgrows the page. Share makes a link to text to an assistant coach: anyone with it can read the plan on a phone, nobody can edit it, and you can turn it off.

The drill library

The library is shared. A drill you add is seen by every coach of the same sport, with your name on it, unless you mark it Only me. You can read, pin and use other coaches’ drills; only the owner can change one. A drill from another coach can change after you put it on a practice, so Copy it to my library to keep your own version.

Pin the drills you use most; they lead your library and the builder. Your notes on a drill are private and never print. Not useful hides a drill from your library only; nobody else is told, and you can bring it back.

The two draft buttons

Draft from a video watches a YouTube clip you paste and proposes a drill with timestamps. Draft with AI turns your brief into a timeline from the library. Neither saves anything without you: every draft is a form you check and approve. Neither knows anything about your players. Drafting has a daily limit; past it, add the drill by hand until tomorrow.

What we check, and what we don’t

Every video on a sheet has been checked to exist on YouTube, again each week and before you print; one that has gone is left off and you are told. We check that the link works, not what the clip teaches: watch it once before practice.

For the record: a share link being opened is noted once a day per practice, nothing more about the visitor. A messaging app’s link preview may count as that one open.
